Parts Advisor

Experience

We are a growing heavy duty parts sales and truck repair facility. We are looking for an experienced parts person to join our team. Direct H.D. parts experience is an asset. Red seal or Journeyman tickets an asset.

Applicants would preferably be well versed in heavy truck and trailer parts. You should have between 3 to 5 years minimum parts experience, or be otherwise advanced in mechanical knowledge.

Education

You should be familiar with all aspects of warehousing, shipping, receiving , ordering and delivery of parts.

Working hours

Shift can possibly be nights 4 x 10's or

days 5 x 8's depending on choice/availability/training

Responsibilities and duties

You will be supplying our retail, wholesale and internal customers with parts both from inventory and external sources.

Knowledge, skills and abilities

• You should be familiar with all aspects of warehousing, shipping, receiving , ordering and delivery of parts.
• You should be a neat and organized person, be a team player, friendly, courteous and helpful.
• You should be capable and comfortable with computers and computer based inventory systems.
• A drivers abstract is required, since operation of company vehicles is a likely occurrence.
